Abstract
The paper discusses the impact of inter-organizational cooperation on the development of a region’s Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH). Based on the results of quantitative and qualitative research conducted in 2023, the authors characterized inter-organizational cooperation in the process of creating services based on the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH), as well as identified the stages of the creation of such services and the added value that results from the use of a participatory approach in this process. The authors also identified those elements of ICH management that involve the cooperation of partners. The paper helps to understand the role of inter-organizational cooperation in designing ICH-based services, while also showing how ICH can be managed based on services designed as part of inter-organizational cooperation. The study presents the features of inter-organizational cooperation in the process of designing an ICH-based service is distinguished. It has been proven that the inter-organizational cooperation in designing an ICH-based service highlights the innovation aspect of this activity and it has a positive impact on ICH development.
