From the ancient Egypt to our days games evolved continuously. Several innovations in technology&#13;
made possible to play with people around the world, or simulate realities to give new experiences&#13;
to players. But this evolution shows us that could be more than pure entertainment in games.&#13;
Serious games offer a new vision: a way to teach, to train or even perform advertising campaigns.&#13;
The use of games for teaching purposes is one of the pillars of this thesis.&#13;
Bearing in mind that in our country the learning of mathematics is one of the key problems related&#13;
with school failure, serious games could help professionals to detect deficiencies on the system in&#13;
order to find a solution.&#13;
The main goal of this master thesis is to focus on one important area of mathematics and&#13;
implement a tangible game system for teaching children geometry. With the use of a tangible table,&#13;
kids could interact in a physical way with the designed video games, making the experience more&#13;
attractive and helpful. Additionally, it is possible to evaluate if the children improved their spatial&#13;
skills by this method, acquiring useful statistics about them while they are playing.&#13;
The games implemented on the prototype (one based on puzzles and the other on geometry&#13;
questions) are fully functional and the system is prepared to be used. During the implementation&#13;
process, different adjustments and changes respect the original idea have been made, in order to&#13;
guarantee that the machine is operative and available to perform a proof of concept: let the&#13;
children play and verify if the premises about learning by this method were correct.

Let's Go Padel offers to padel tournament organizers, clubs or specialized companies a set of mobile applications to improve the management and monitoring of their tournaments while improving the relationship with the players. The management application lets you cover the end-to-end cycle of the tournament, reducing management costs and improving efficiency. At the same time, the application for players allows the tournament follow up in real time and from anywhere, increasing the players‟ satisfaction and loyalty for upcoming tournaments. For the development of the solution we used some of the latest technologies such as cloud systems and multi-platform development frameworks, getting a highly functional, high performance and attractive design, usable from multiple platforms and devices. The result of this work consists of a mobile application for managers developed with the framework Ionic, a second application for players, developed with Objective C and all of it integrated with Parse, a backend cloud platform that stores data and provides secure data access as well as cloud code to manage key processes. The application for managers is designed for use in tablet devices or computer and is available for iOS and Android platforms as well as access via web browser. The application for players instead is designed for smartphones and tablets and is available for iOS platforms. This set of applications born to fill a real need in the market for which there are no equivalent solutions, meets the objectives and provides a solution that can create a turning point in the management of padel tournaments.

approximate&#13;
both&#13;

Conclusions:&#13;

In the society we lived the new technologies have become an indispensable tool for our day.&#13;
With the creation of communication networks, currently anyone at any time with a device with&#13;
network access can obtain information to respond to their human needs and expand their&#13;
knowledge.&#13;
In the last years, important devices have appeared on the market to use in our everyday life, such as&#13;
the smartphones. The technology has been forced to move forward and bring new products to the&#13;
market to meet the need, whether profit, educational, business, etc.&#13;
If we think on our childhood as students, we can remember the suitcase full of books and the&#13;
teacher writing on the blackboard. With the progress of new technologies, this is going to change.&#13;
In a nearer future will be possible to learn using 3D environments.
