Estudi exploratori sobre la relació entre característiques de la personalitat i el tipus d'amor del triangle amorós

Abstract

El present treball exploratori té d’objectiu l’estudi d’una relació entre les diferents dimensions de personalitat (extraversió, psicoticisme i neuroticisme) i els tres vèrtexs del triangle amorós de Sternberg (intimitat, passió i compromís). Un altre autor referenciat en l’estudi és Jhon Alen Lee (1988) el qual tracta el mite de l’amor i els diferents tipus: eros, ludus, strorge, mania, pragme i ágape. Per a realitzar la investigació s’ha dut a terme la passació dels tests EPQ-R i el model d’escala del triangle amorós de Sternberg, a 26 persones amb una parella de més d’un any. Els resultats obtinguts conclouen que la hipòtesis plantejada és nul·la. No es detecta una correlació entre les característiques de la personalitat (psicoticisme, extraversió i neuroticisme) i el vèrtex del triangle amorós (intimitat, passió i compromís).

The present exploratory work aims to study the relationship between the different dimensions of personality (extraversion, psychoticism and neuroticism) and the three vertices of the Sternberg's love triangle (intimacy, passion and commitment). Another author referenced in the study is Jhon Alen Lee (1988) who explains the different types of love myths: eros, ludus, storge, mania, pragma and agape. To carry out the research, the EPQ-R test and the scale model of the Sternberg love triangle were passed upon 26 people that have been in a couple for over one year. The results obtained conclude that the hypothesis raised is null. Therefore, there is no correlation between the characteristics of personality (psychoticism, extraversion and neuroticism) and the vertex of the love triangle (intimacy, passion and commitment).
