Eficacia de la terapia manual en la disminución del dolor y la mejora de la cualidad de vida de la Endometriosis

Abstract

Objetivo Evaluar un protocolo de terapia manual (movilizaciones lumbares, fasciaterapía y terapia visceral) en un contexto de endometriosis dolorosa. Se quiere comprobar si permite la disminución del dolor y si mejora la calidad de vida. Además, se evaluarán los gastos que se pueden economizar. El objetivo final, si obtiene resultados positivos, seria adaptar este protocolo a la salud pública y así concienciar el gran público y el cuerpo medical sobre la endometriosis. Metodología Ensayo clínico aleatorizado controlado desarrollado en el CHU Estaing en Clermont-Ferrand (Francia). Los 30 participantes, seleccionados según criterios de inclusión y exclusión, serán divididos en dos grupos iguales. El grupo control recibirá un tratamiento convencional de farmacoterapia y terapia hormonal, mientras que el grupo test seguirá el protocolo de terapia manual. El estudio durara 4 meses. Se harán tres evaluaciones, cuyos variables serán analizadas gracias al logicial SPSS. Limitaciones La franja de edad elegida y el retraso diagnóstico, la falta de información y los tabús que planean sobre este tema, dificultaran la selección de participantes. Podrán aparecer limitaciones a causa del abandono del estudio, falta de adherencia, embarazo o complicaciones relativo al horario.

Objective To evaluate a manual therapy protocol, composed by low back mobilizations, fascia therapy and visceral therapy, in a painful endometriosis context. The purpose is to verify if this type of protocol could be effective in decrease painful symptoms and improve quality of life. Besides, will check if the economics costs could be economized. The final objective is to adapt this protocol with public health, if he obtains positives outcomes, and conscientized the public and the medical profession on endometriosis. Methodology Randomized clinical trial, developed in the CHU Estaing in Clermont-Ferrand (France). The 30 participants, selected by inclusive and exclusive standards, will be divided in two equals groups. The control group will receive the conventional treatment of pharmacotherapy and hormonal therapy, while the test group will receive the manual therapy treatment. This study last 4 months, with three evaluations, which variables will be evaluated by the SPSS program. Limitations The age class and the diagnostic retard, the lack of information and the taboo which planed on this subject, will difficulted the participants selection. Other limitations will appear because of study abandonment, lack of adherence, pregnancy, or schedule complications.
