La influència de la música en l'aprenentatge de la llengua anglesa

Abstract

El present Treball de Final de Grau tracta sobre la importància de la música com a matèria educativa i quina és la seva influència en l’aprenentatge d’altres àmbits de coneixement, concretament en el cas de la llengua anglesa. Tenint en compte, però, el poc valor que se li atribueix a l’aprenentatge musical a les escoles avui en dia i des de ja fa temps, el següent treball pretén estudiar els beneficis d’aquest àmbit i com, incorporant la música de forma interdisciplinària amb altres assignatures, es poden aconseguir aprenentatges significatius. Actualment, hi ha diferents models i propostes que ja han dut a terme investigacions i pràctiques sobre la incorporació de la música com a eina d’aprenentatge en altres àmbits. Els resultats d’aquests estudis han estat positius a nivell educatiu, doncs s’ha demostrat que la música és una eina que ajuda a adquirir aprenentatges d’altres àmbits tot treballant a través d’ella. I no només això, sino que s’ha demostrat que quan s’aplica la música, aquesta no només actua com a eina, sinó que també és un contingut educatiu que s’adquireix i s’aprèn a través de viure-la i experimentar-la. D’aquesta manera, l’objectiu del treball és dissenyar dues propostes didàctiques de contingut en anglès, una basada en propostes musical, per tal de dur-les a terme i comparar-ne els resultats, veient així la influència que té la música en l’aprenentatge de la llengua anglesa, i donant resposta a la pregunta plantejada al llarg del treball.

The present Final Thesis deals with the importance of music as an educational subject and its influence on the learning of other areas of knowledge, specifically in the case of the English language. However, taking into account the little value attributed to music learning in schools today and for a long time, the following work aims to study the benefits of this area and how, incorporating music in an interdisciplinary way with other subjects, significant learning can be achieved. Currently, there are different models and proposals that have already carried out research and practices on the incorporation of music as a learning tool in other areas. The results of these studies have been positive at the educational level, since it has been shown that music is a tool that helps to acquire learning from other areas working through it. And not only that, but it has been shown that when music is applied, it not only acts as a tool, but it is also an educational content that is acquired and learned through living and experiencing it. In this way, the aim of the work has been to design two didactic proposals of content in English, one based on musical proposals, to carry them out and to compare their results, thus seeing the influence that music has in the learning of the English language, and answering the question posed throughout the work.
