Anàlisi econòmica-financera i de sostenibilitat del transport de mercaderies per carretera a Catalunya, període 2019-2023

Abstract

En el present treball es duu a terme una anàlisi econòmica, financera i de sostenibilitat del sector del transport de mercaderies per carretera a Catalunya durant el període 2019-2023, marcat per la crisi sanitària de la Covid-19, per l’augment dels costos energèOcs i per les exigències normaOves mediambientals. A parOr d’una mostra objecOva i representaOva d’empreses, s’han analitzat els principals estats financers, el Balanç de Situació, el Compte de Pèrdues i Guanys, l’Estat de Fluxos d’EfecOu i l’Estat de Canvis en el Patrimoni Net, mitjançant càlcul de diferents ràOos, rendibilitats i proporcions entre les diferents masses patrimonials, tant a curt com a llarg termini. Paral·lelament, també s’analitza el marc normaOu i mediambiental, destacant la necessitat de conciliar sostenibilitat i viabilitat econòmica. Els resultats obOnguts mostren una evolució posiOva del sector, malgrat l’impacte inicial de la pandèmia, i la necessitat d’enforOr l’autonomia financera per fer front als reptes futurs.

This paper carries out an economic, financial, and sustainability analysis of the road freight transport sector in Catalonia during the period 2019–2023, a Ome marked by the Covid-19 health crisis, rising energy costs, and increasing environmental regulatory requirements. Based on an objecOve and representaOve sample of companies, the main financial statements — the Balance Sheet, the Profit and Loss Account, the Cash Flow Statement, and the Statement of Changes in Equity — have been analyzed through the calculaOon of various raOos, profitability indicators, and the distribuOon of equity and liability structures in both the short and long term. In parallel, the study also examines the regulatory and environmental framework, highlighOng the need to balance sustainability with economic viability. The results obtained show a posiOve evoluOon of the sector despite the iniOal impact of the pandemic, while also underscoring the need to strengthen financial autonomy in order to meet future challenges.
