Condropatia Rotuliana: Avaluació i Intervenció en un Procés de Readaptació de força. Estudi de Cas

Abstract

El present treball és un estudi de cas detallat sobre la condropatia rotuliana, una patologia degenerativa de l’articulació patel·lofemoral que afecta el cartílag articular de la ròtula. S’analitzaran en profunditat l’anatomia del genoll, les característiques de la patologia, així com les principals causes i factors de risc. A més, es descriuran els diferents mètodes de diagnòstic i tractament disponibles. El treball es focalitzarà especialment en el procés de readaptació mitjançant l’entrenament de força en una persona de mitjana edat que, a causa de la seva lesió, no havia practicat aquest tipus d’exercici durant gairebé deu anys. A través d’un estudi de cas, es proporcionaran dades actualitzades sobre l’evolució de la condropatia rotuliana amb l’aplicació d’un programa específic de readaptació, amb l’objectiu de millorar la funció articular i reduir el dolor. Finalment, mitjançant la realització de tests específics, s’avaluarà l’evolució de la patologia i es compararan els resultats obtinguts amb la literatura científica existent per determinar l’eficàcia del programa de readaptació.

This paper presents a detailed case study on chondromalacia patellae, a degenerative condition of the patellofemoral joint affecting the articular cartilage of the patella. It will provide an in-depth analysis of knee anatomy, the characteristics of the pathology, as well as its main causes and risk factors. Additionally, the different diagnostic and treatment methods available will be described. The study will focus particularly on the readaptation process through strength training in a middle-aged individual who, due to the injury, had not engaged in this type of exercise for nearly ten years. Through a case study, updated data will be provided on the progression of chondromalacia patellae following the implementation of a specific readaptation program, aiming to improve joint function and reduce pain. Finally, specific tests will be conducted to assess the evolution of the pathology, and the results will be compared with existing scientific literature to evaluate the effectiveness of the readaptation program.
