El viatge que no s’acaba: impacte psicològic en els adolescents i joves migrants sols

Abstract

Aquest treball de fi de grau analitza l’impacte psicològic dels processos migratoris en adolescents i joves migrants sols que arriben a Catalunya. Mitjançant una metodologia qualitativa basada en entrevistes semiestructurades a quatre joves i quatre professionals del sector, s’exploren les vivències personals, els factors de risc i protecció, i les conseqüències emocionals derivades del procés migratori. Els resultats mostren una gran afectació emocional marcada pel dol migratori, l’estrès posttraumàtic i la manca de suport afectiu real. També es posa de manifest la diferència entre les expectatives dels joves i la realitat que es troben a l’arribada, així com la importància de l’acompanyament professional. Aquest estudi pretén donar veu a aquests joves i contribuir a una mirada més humana i empàtica sobre el fenomen migratori.

This final degree project explores the psychological impact of the migration process on unaccompanied migrant adolescents and young people arriving in Catalonia. Using a qualitative methodology based on semi-structured interviews with four young migrants and four professionals in the field, the study investigates their personal experiences, risk and protective factors, and the emotional consequences associated with their migration journeys. The results show a significant emotional impact marked by migratory grief, post-traumatic stress, and the lack of real emotional support. The research also highlights the gap between the expectations of these young people and the reality they encounter upon arrival, as well as the crucial role of professional support. This study aims to give voice to these young people and promote a more human and empathetic perspective on the migratory phenomenon.
