La música com a element inclusiu i intercultural a la ciutat de Vic: El marc teòric

Abstract

El present Treball Final de Màster (TFM) desenvolupa el marc teòric per a una futura tesi doctoral que pretén explorar el paper de la música com a eina d’inclusió i promoció de la interculturalitat a la ciutat de Vic. Partint de l’experiència personal i professional de l’autor en l’àmbit musical i educatiu, la recerca revisa els principals referents teòrics i legislatius sobre inclusió, segregació, interculturalitat i els moviments migratoris, fent especial èmfasi en el context educatiu i social català i vigatà. El TFM analitza experiències nacionals i internacionals on la música, i especialment el cant coral, han estat origen de transformació social, cohesió i creació d’espais comuns entre persones de diferents orígens i cultures. Es proposa la creació d’un cor musical comunitari i inclusiu a Vic que afavoreixi la participació, el diàleg intercultural i la construcció de vincles socials més enllà de la procedència, la llengua, la cultura o la religió. La metodologia proposada per a la futura tesi és qualitativa, dins del paradigma interpretatiu i a través de la recerca-acció participativa, amb l’objectiu de situar les persones participants com a agents actius del canvi. Les conclusions del TFM assenyalen la música com a eina privilegiada de transformació social i reclamen adaptar els projectes a les necessitats i realitats locals per garantir la inclusió real i efectiva.

This Master's Final Project (TFM) develops the theoretical framework of a future Doctoral Thesis aiming to explore the role of music as a tool for increasing inclusion and promoting interculturality in the city of Vic. Setting the starting point on the author’s personal and professional experience in the musical and educational fields, the research reviews the main theoretical and legislative references around inclusion, segregation, interculturality, and migratory movements with a focus on the Catalan and local (Vic) educational and social context. The TFM analyses national and international experiences where music, particularly choral singing, has served as a catalyst for social transformation, cohesion, and the creation of shared spaces between people from different origins and cultures. It proposes the creation of a community and inclusive choir in Vic to encourage participation, intercultural dialogue, and the building of social bonds that transcend origin, language, or religion. The suggested methodology for the future thesis is qualitative, within the interpretative paradigm, and via participatory action-research, aiming to position the participants as active agents of change. Conclusions state music as a privileged tool for social transformation and highlights the necessity of adapting projects to the local needs and realities to ensure genuine and effective inclusion.
