El booktrailer, eina per a promoure la lectura

Abstract

L’ús dels mitjans audiovisuals ha incrementat molt durant l’inici del segle XXI. Una nova forma per promocionar llibres és l’ús de l’anomenat booktrailer. El booktrailer és un format audiovisual amb l’objectiu de promocionar un llibre a través de la creació d’un tràiler. Aquest projecte té com a objectiu per una banda, analitzar més a fons què són i com es classifiquen els booktrailers i, per altra banda, realitzar un booktrailer del llibre “Sé el que estàs pensant” de l’autor John Verdon. En aquest treball, s’explica com es pot dur a terme la realització d’un booktrailer i distingir les fases de preproducció, producció i postproducció. Aquest treball aporta una evidència empírica d’un àmbit que està en procés d’expansió.

The use of the media has increased quite a lot from the beginning of the 21st Century onwards. A new way of promoting books is the usage of the so-called booktrailer. A booktrailer can be defined as a new audiovisual format which aims at promoting a book by creating a trailer. The goals of this forthcoming project are, on the one hand, to deeply analyse what booktrailers are and how booktrailers are classified. On the other hand, to create and develops a booktrailer from a book called Think of a Number. This work explains how a booktrailer is the different stages (preproduction/production and postproduction) are described. This proposed gives new empiric evidence from a field which is still in progress.
