Evaluación de la efectividad de la crioterapia a cuerpo entero en el tratamiento del dolor de lumbalgia crónica

Abstract

El trabajo es un estudio sobre la crioterapia con paciente que tienen dolor lumbar crónicos. Este estudio tiene como objetivo de estudiar la evolución del dolor en pacientes con lumbalgia crónica después de la implementación de un protocolo de crioterapia a cuerpo entero. Para esto, los 36 pacientes que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión fueron asignados por sorteo al azar en dos grupos de 18. El estudio se realizará con un grupo experimental y un grupo de control. El primer grupo hará la crioterapia (2 sesiones de rehabilitación de la columna lumbar por semana asociadas con 5 sesiones de CCE por semana ) y el segundo no realizará la crioterapia. El estudio se desarrollará en un centro de rehabilitación en Toulouse a Francia durante el período del 2 de marzo al 10 de abril de 2019. El estudio se desarrollará en un período de 4 semanas. Evaluaremos el dolor con la escala EVA y para la calidad de vida utilizaremos la Escala de calidad de vida percibida Short Form-36 (SF-36). Haremos una comparación de los resultados entre los dos grupos. Un programa estadístico SPSS nos permitirá concluir el estudio.

The work is a study on cryotherapy with patients who have chronic low back pain. This study aims to analyse the evolution of pain in patients with chronic low back pain after the implementation of a full-body cryotherapy protocol. For this, the 36 patients who met the inclusion criteria were assigned by random drawing in two groups of 18. The study will be conducted with an experimental group and a control group. The first group will perform cryotherapy (2 sessions of rehabilitation of the lumbar spine per week associated with 5 cryotherapy sessions per week) and the second will not perform cryotherapy. The study will be carried out in a rehabilitation center in Toulouse in France during the period from March 2 to April 10, 2019. The study will be developed over a period of 4 weeks. We will evaluate the pain with the EVA scale and for the quality of life we will use the Short Form-36 perceived quality of life scale (SF-36). We will make a comparison of the results between the two groups. A statistical program SPSS will allow us to conclude the study.
