La influència de l'autoestima en la satisfacció sexual d'estudiants de la Universitat de Vic

Abstract

La motivació d’aquest estudi és identificar la influència de l’autoestima respecte la satisfacció sexual i establir-ne les diferències en funció del gènere. La mostra consisteix en 50 subjectes de 20 a 30 anys, heterosexuals, amb parella estable i estudiants de la Universitat de Vic. Per a analitzar la relació entre aquestes variables objecte d’estudi, s’ha fet servir l’escala d’autoestima de Rosenberg i l’Índex de Satisfacció Sexual de Hudson. Els resultats indiquen que la relació entre aquestes dues variables no és del tot significativa, però si que s’observen diferències segons el gènere pel que fa a l’autoestima.

The motivation of this investigation is to identify influence of self-esteem over the sexual satisfaction and to set differences according to the gender variable. The sample is constitued of 50 subjects aged between 20 and 30 years old, heterosexuals, with a steady partner, and students of the University of Vic. To analyze the relationship between these variables, Rosenberg’s self-esteem scale, and Hudson’s Sexual Satisfaction Index have been applied. The results show that the relationship between both these variables is not completely significant, although some differences on the self-esteem are seen depending on the gender.
