Language Exchange Support Guide

Abstract

The Language Exchange Support Guide is a resource for everyone involved in a Catalan university’s language exchange programme. A language exchange is an informal way for people to practise and improve their skills in languages they already know or are learning. In addition to bringing people of different nationalities together, such exchanges help to broaden participants’ view of the world. This guide aims to provide language-exchange pairs or groups with a range of ideas, guidelines and suggestions, so that they can conduct their conversation sessions independently and get the greatest possible linguistic, cultural and personal benefit from them.
