El centre és casa, i com a casa enlloc

Abstract

Quan als infants i adolescents tutelats no els és possible l’opció de disposar del recurs principal quant a mesures familiars, ingressen en centres educatius residencials. Tenint present que en aquests hi ha un nombre de menors residint-hi i professionals treballanthi, hem de ser conscients que la convivència és complexa, ja que totes tenen les seves pròpies històries de vida. Per tant, aquests centres han de propiciar la funció d’un habitatge als menors que hi resideixin, ha d’estar ben equipat de recursos bàsics per a poder normalitzar la dinàmica de la vida quotidiana i ha d’oferir espais, intimitat, confiança, personalitat, seguretat i protecció. És per aquest motiu, que en aquest treball observaré la façana exterior i la infraestructura interior del Centre Residencial d’Acció Educativa Xaloc, situat al Gironès. D’aquesta manera obtindrem en quines condicions es troba i quines fortaleses i limitacions observem en el seu espai físic.

When children and teenagers aren’t provided with the option of having the main resource in terms of family measures, they enter residential educational centers. Bearing in mind that there are several under aged residing there and professionals also working there, we must be aware that coexistence is complex, as they all have their own life history. Therefore, these centers must provide the function of housing for the minors who live there, must be well equipped with basic resources to be able to normalize the dynamics of everyday life, and must offer spaces, privacy, confidence, personality, security, and protection. That is why I will, in this work, look at the exterior facade and the interior infrastructure of the Xaloc Educational Action Centre, located in Girona. In this way, we will obtain in 4 which conditions it is kept and the strengths and limitations we observe in its physical space.
