La representación y participación de las personas africanas y afrodescendientes en los medios de comunicación españoles.

Abstract

Este estudio analiza la representación y la participación del colectivo afrodescendiente en los medios de comunicación y, en especial, en los informativos. La investigación revisa y analiza los prejuicios y estereotipos que se transmiten sobre los procesos migratorios y afrodescendientes españoles en los medios. El objetivo es mostrar contranarrativas a estos discursos de odio mediante entrevistas a periodistas y comunicadores africanos y afrodescendientes referentes en el colectivo.

This study analyzes the representation and participation of the Afro-descendant group in the media and, especially, in the news. The research reviews and analyzes the prejudices and stereotypes that are transmitted about the Spanish migratory and Afro-descendant processes in the media. The objective is to show counter-narratives to these hate speeches through interviews with African and Afro-descendant journalists and communicators who are leaders of the group.
