Els qui van parlar. La delación separatista del complot de Prats de Molló

Abstract

El artículo aporta nueva información sobre la desarticulación del complot de Prats de Molló de noviembre de 1926. A partir de documentación procedente de los Archivos Nacionales franceses y del Arxiu Nacional de Catalunya, la investigación detalla una delación involuntaria al comienzo de ese año de un grupo de miembros del propio Estat Català. El movimiento de Francesc Macià pretendía invadir Cataluña con un contingente de catalanes e italianos, liberarla de la dictadura de Primo de Rivera y proclamar la República catalana. El artículo demuestra que, al margen de otras informaciones recabadas por los gobiernos de España y Francia, fueron las confesiones inocentes de un puñado de jóvenes separatistas las que expusieron con mayor claridad a la República francesa los propósitos macianistas, y que, por tanto, fueron miembros del propio Estat Català quienes contribuyeron a delatar su objetivo militar, al margen de espías o agentes infiltrados.

This article provides new information on the dismantling of the “Prats de Molló plot” in November 1926. Based on documentation from the French National Archives and the National Archive of Catalonia, the research details the involuntarily denunciation at the beginning of that year of a group of Estat Català members themselves. The movement was led by Francesc Macià and planned to invade Catalonia with a contingent of Catalans and Italians, liberate it from the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera and proclaim a Catalan Republic. The article argues that, apart from the information collected by the governments of Spain and France, it was the innocent confessions of a handful of young separatists that most clearly exposed Macia’s intentions to the French Republic. And that, therefore, it was members of the Estat Català itself who most contributed to revealing its military objective, despite the efforts of spies and infiltrated agents.
