L’acompanyament que l’educador/a social fa a les famílies, durant l’ingrés i estada del seu familiar que pateix la malaltia d’alzheimer, a la residència

Abstract

Dins aquesta recerca, es podrà veure, quin acompanyament porten a terme els i les professionals, concretament la figura de l'educador/a social, a les residències de gent gran, a les famílies que tenen el seu familiar amb la malaltia d'Alzheimer. Durant l'ingrés en aquest servei, és un moment molt important per aquestes famílies, ja que és un pas molt complicat que han hagut de fer. Per tant, s'ha de poder fer bon seguiment perquè tant la persona resident com el seu nucli més proper, puguin tenir un bon ingrés i estada. Aquest treball s'ha centrat a poder aconseguir la mirada dels professionals, i també donar visibilitat i veu a les famílies que han passat o estan passant per aquest procés. A través de la metodologia qualitativa, s'ha pogut obtenir resultats molt enriquidors de tots els/les participants, explicant la seva història. També, professionals de l'Educació Social, es podran veure reflectits en aquest procés i tenir presents quines són les seves funcions i quin paper tenen en aquest procés.

Within this research, it will be possible to see what accompaniment is carried out by the professionals, specifically the figure of the social educator, in the residences of elderly people, in the families who have a relative with Alzheimer's disease. Admission to this service is a very important moment for these families, as it is a very complicated step that they have had to take. Therefore, it must be possible to provide good follow-up so that both the resident and their family nucleus can have a good admission and stay. This work has focused on being able to get the perspective of the professionals, as well as giving visibility and a voice to the families who have gone through or are going through this process. Through qualitative methodology, it has been possible to obtain very enriching results from all the participants, explaining their story. Also, Social Education professionals will be able to see themselves reflected in this process and be aware of their functions and their role in this process.
