Relación entre el nivel de espiritualidad y calidad de vida en mujeres con cáncer de cérvix

Abstract

Objetivo: Conocer la relación que existe entre el nivel de espiritualidad y la calidad de vida que tienen las mujeres con cáncer de cuello de útero que son tratadas en el Hospital Universitario de Vic. Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, observacional, de mujeres con cáncer de cérvix que se llevará a cabo en la Unidad de Oncología del Hospital Universitario de Vic. Las mujeres seleccionadas se elegirán a través de un muestreo no probabilístico por intención. Se utilizarán diferentes escalas para evaluar variables sociodemográficas y clínicas, el nivel de espiritualidad, el nivel de vida oncológica, la salud mental positiva y el nivel de confort que tienen estas mujeres. Una vez recogidos los datos, se utilizará el test de Wilcoxon y se analizarán y relacionarán dichos resultados con la finalidad de comprender la relación entre la espiritualidad y la calidad de vida de las mujeres con cáncer de cérvix. Limitaciones del estudio: Falta de investigación de las enfermeras sobre la espiritualidad y la enfermedad, dificultad para relacionar conceptos amplios como espiritualidad y calidad de vida, fiabilidad de las respuestas obtenidas, riesgo de que las mujeres abandonen el proyecto y la dificultad en conseguir el test FACT-Cx.

Objective: To find out the relationship between the level of Spirituality and the quality of life of women with cervical cancer who are treated at the University Hospital of Vic. Methodology: Descriptive, observational, study of women with cervical cancer to be carried out in the Oncology Unit of the University Hospital of Vic. The women selected will be chosen through non-probabilistic sampling by intention. Different scales will be used to evaluate sociodemographic and clinical variables, the level of spirituality, the level of oncological life, positive mental health and the level of comfort that these women have. Once the data have been collected, the Wilcoxon test Will be used and these results will be analysed and related in order to understand the relationship between spirituality and quality of life in women with cervical cancer. Limitations of the study: Lack of research by nurses on spirituality and illness, difficulty in relating broad concepts such as spirituality and quality of life, reliability of the responses obtained, risk of women dropping out of the project and difficulty in obtaining the FACT-Cx test.
