Els protagonistes de la literatura infantil: s'identifica l'infant amb els personatges de la narrativa?

Abstract

Els protagonistes dels llibres infantils ofereixen al nen o nena experimentar aventures que pot associar amb els seus propis sentiments i que li permeten creure en la victòria com a recompensa al seu esforç. Tanmateix, a través dels diferents personatges, l’infant pot reconèixer i comprendre les seves emocions, així com entendre que viure significa fer front a proves difícils però també passar per bones experiències. Nosaltres admetem aquesta importància del personatge i, sobretot, del protagonista, i la utilitzem com a base del present treball. Es tracta, doncs, d’un estudi del seu paper dins de la narrativa dirigida a infants. D’acord amb això, oferim un recorregut per la història de la narració posant especial èmfasi en el conte i l’àlbum, un referent tradicional i un d’actual, que ens serveixen per estudiar-ne els personatges i la seva evolució. L’objectiu és analitzar els protagonistes des de l’òptica literària per posteriorment conèixer el punt d’identificació d’alguns infants de cinc anys amb aquests i relacionar-ho amb les fonts teòriques. A més, s’observa la biblioteca d’aula incidint en els models de protagonistes que es troben en una aula de P5.

The protagonists in children's books allow children to experience adventures that they can associate to their own feelings and that allow them to believe in the victory as a reward for their efforts. Moreover, children can recognize and understand their own emotions through the different characters and realize that living means facing difficult challenges but also having good experiences. We recognize the importance of characters in children’s literature but, above all, the significance of the protagonist. Consequently, the main character and his role in children's narrative is the subject of study of this thesis. In accordance with it, we offer a tour through the history of the children’s narrative examining traditional tales and picture storybooks’ characters and their evolution. The objective is to understand how a five-year-old would relate to these protagonists and link it to literary theories. Furthermore, we explore a five-year-old classroom library to identify the different types of protagonists in their books.
