El espais exteriors com a oportunitat d'aprenentatge

Abstract

La investigació en context sorgeix del pensament de trobar i conèixer espais exteriors dels centres educatius que estiguin prou desenvolupats. A més, neix amb la finalitat de posar en context la importància que tenen aquests espais i treure la idea que els espais exteriors només serveixen perquè els infants “prenguin l’aire”. Partint d’aquí, la recerca se centra a conèixer, evidenciar i demostrar que els jardins de les escoles bressol són espais que proporcionen estímuls, interessos i oportunitats d’aprenentatge. Així doncs, la investigació pren un sentit únic gràcies a la pregunta de recerca; “Com han de ser els jardins del primer cicle d’educació infantil per promoure l’aprenentatge i el desenvolupament dels infants?”. Gràcies a aquesta pregunta, la recerca se centra a ser un estudi de cas portat a terme a una escola bressol municipal de Vic. Estudi que s’ha centrat a estudiar aquesta escola a través de l’anàlisi de documents, d’observacions realitzades en aquesta i d’entrevistes realitzades a dues educadores del centre. D’aquesta manera, s’ha pogut conèixer un centre educatiu amb un espai exterior prou desenvolupat i a més, s’ha pogut definir els aspectes claus que s’han de tenir en compte per crear i potenciar un espai exterior. Així doncs, en finalitzar aquesta investigació s’observa com els jardins prou desenvolupats permeten que els infants puguin fomentar i desenvolupar diverses destreses motrius alhora aprenent, el mateix que en els espais interiors dels centres educatius.

The research in context arises from the thought of finding and knowing outdoor spaces of the educational centers that are quite developed. In addition, it was born with the purpose of putting in context the importance of these spaces and to remove the idea that outdoor spaces are only useful for children to "take the air". From here, the research is focused on knowing, evidencing and demonstrating that the gardens of nursery schools are spaces that provide stimuli, interests and learning opportunities. Thus, the research takes on a unique meaning thanks to the research question; "How do nursery school gardens have to be to promote children's learning and development?". Thanks to this question, the research focuses on being a case study carried out in a municipal nursery school in Vic. This study has focused on studying this school through the analysis of documents, observations made in this school and interviews with two educators of the center. In this way, it has been possible to know an educational center with a sufficiently developed outdoor space and, in addition, it has been possible to define the key aspects that have to be taken into account to create and enhance an outdoor space. Thus, at the end of this research it is observed that sufficiently developed gardens allow children to promote and develop several motor skills at the same time while learning, the same as in the interior spaces of the educational centers.
