La vivència d’una família amb un infant amb trastorn de l’espectre autista

Abstract

Aquesta recerca es basa en quin ha estat el suport i les estratègies rebudes per part de l’escola després que una família en concret rebi el diagnòstic del seu infant (Trastorn de l’Espectre Autista d’Alt Funcionament). La metodologia emprada en aquest treball ha estat el paradigma interpretatiu, basat en un mètode d’investigació concret, l’estudi de cas. Per poder dur a terme la part pràctica s’ha fet servir una tècnica de recollida de dades de caràcter qualitatiu, l’entrevista. Els principals objectius d’aquest Treball de Fi de Grau són: descriure i analitzar el context d’una família amb un infant amb TEA i conèixer com ho viu amb l’infant; aprofundir i comprendre com es va sentir la família i quines eines va tenir quan se li va comunicar que el seu infant tenia TEA; identificar i analitzar quines ajudes té la família i la relació que estableix aquesta amb l’escola. Tots els objectius han estat complerts, gràcies a les entrevistes i l’anàlisi de dades duta a terme. En aquest treball es pot veure la importància d’atendre des de les escoles a les famílies amb infants amb Necessitats Específiques de Suport Educatiu. Falten espais on poder compartir, conversar i donar suport emocional a les famílies.

This research is based on the support and strategies provided by the school after a specific family received their child's diagnosis (High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder). The methodology used in this final project follows the interpretive paradigm, employing a specific research method: the case study. In order to carry out the practical part, a qualitative data collection technique, the interview, has been used. The main objectives of this Final Degree Project are: to describe and analyze the context of a family with a child diagnosed with ASD and to understand how they experience this reality; to explore and gain insight into how the family felt and what resources they had when they received the diagnosis; and to identify and analyze the support the family receives and the relationship they establish with the school. All objectives have been achieved, thanks to the interviews and data analysis conducted. 3 This Final Degree Project highlights the importance of schools in supporting families with children who have Specific Educational Support Needs. It also reveals a lack of spaces where families can share experiences, communicate, and receive emotional support
